09:30 - 11:00 Assemblée Générale Liberté 0 (Atelier / workshop)
Room : 29 IAE 06 Theme Accessibility and mobility
It's during the Libre Software Meeting 2013 in Brussels that the Liberté 0 project was devised, with a test period of one year: if one year later the group would be still active, we would found an association during the next LSM. After a discussion with Richard Stallman whose report was published on the Framablog [1], the need to extend the definition of Freedom 0 to everybody met a favorable echo. An informal group started working on the topic: website, wiki, mailing lists and IRC channel were settled. The activity of the groupe and some already acquired positive results allow use to consider making the group more perennial through an association. Everybody who is curious or interested in our project about free and accessible digital world are welcome to this general assembly founding the association. -
09:30 - 18:00 Foxel : How to Valorize your Informational Patrimony ? (Atelier / workshop)
Room : 5.03 TD Collectivity Confirmed Theme Society
The purpose of this workshop is to apprehend the technological tools allowing the valorization of the informational patrimony of the region.
Foxel SA offer the possibility to gather in one piece the surrounding environment in the form of a panorama. They also offer the possibility of reconstructing the three-dimensional environment through stereo pairs along with the embarked equipment on the camera.
The positioning system (GPS) is in charge of the geolocation of the camera during the measurement process. Its role is to attach to the shooting process the ground references and record the orientation of the camera over time.
Based on images acquired by the camera, a reconstruction of the environment is performed. The reconstructed data is attached to the terrestrial reference frame, giving the possibility to measure between points selected, for example through a panoramic navigation.
- Scaning Tools
- Post-processing tools and processing parallelization
- Points of interest / Automatic detection
- Augmented reality interfaces based on panoramas and points of interest
- Interfaces of ticket management on geo-located images base
- Automatic face-detect and bluring
- 2D and 3D parametric object detection
- Positioning System
- Three-dimensional reconstruction
- Measurement service
A wiki dedicated to the workshop will be available from day one in order to describe the proposed tools, and give access to the raw data and the post-processed data that will be used in the workshop. The address (not yet available) will be http://rmll2014.foxel.ch. -
